Juicy Seasoned Beef Burgers, Ready for the Grill

Burger on a brioche bun with melted cheese and lettuce

Burger night usually comes with a little prep work: break out the ground beef, guess at the seasoning, hope the patties hold together. Our new Seasoned Ground Beef Burgers skip all of that. They arrive already seasoned and already formed, so the only thing left to do is get the grill hot.

Seasoned the classic way

We keep the blend simple on purpose: garlic, salt, pepper, and onion powder. It is the seasoning most people reach for anyway, mixed straight through the beef instead of sprinkled on the outside, so every bite tastes the same as the first. Nothing in the mix competes with the beef. It just makes it taste more like itself.

Why they stay juicy

Juiciness comes down to the beef and the handling. Ours is Black Angus, pasture raised by local American farmers and never aged, with enough fat running through the grind to keep the patties tender on a hot grate. We form them at a third of a pound each, thick enough to hold their juices but not so thick that the middle lags behind the crust. Three patties per pack, a full pound of beef per order.

How to cook them

Start with a properly hot grill or a heavy skillet. Lay the patties down and leave them alone for three to four minutes, until a deep brown crust forms and they release on their own. Flip once. Give them another three to four minutes for medium, a minute less if you like them pink in the middle.

Two things to resist: pressing down with the spatula, which squeezes out the juice you paid for, and flipping repeatedly, which keeps a crust from forming. When they come off the heat, let them rest a couple of minutes before they hit the bun. If you want cheese, lay it on right after the flip so it melts as the burger finishes.

Build it however you like

These take toppings well. Pile on lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickles, or keep it to cheese and a good bun and let the beef carry it. They also work beyond the bun, crumbled over a salad or served with eggs for a hearty breakfast.

All of our beef is USDA inspected, halal, and zabiha. Order your Seasoned Ground Beef Burgers here and put dinner together in about ten minutes.
